Starting the Process

Aesa nodded. "Ready little sister..."


Stoi came running to her side wanting to help.

Rika nodded and took off running silently in the woods. She took to different trails.

Aesa chuckled and walked off, petting Stoi's head.

The bear loved her caress but focus on looking for game and protecting her. Aesa and Rika's companions were smarter than other creatures.

Rika stopped seeing a large wild boar. She started to aim her bow while notching up the arrow. Just as she was about to shoot one of the men vying for her and Aesa's attention showed up. He chased off her prey making her growl.

"You idiot!" Rika stormed up to him. "How dare you run off my game!"

He looked at her. "Technically it wasn't yours until you killed it."






Aesa spotted a large oxen, and held up her knife, waiting for it to get a little closer when Stoi roared at something near, making her take her eye off her hunt. She looked back seeing nothing and groaned. "Damn it." She through her dagger into the air, striking and killing an eagle.

"It would have if your stupid ass hadn't interfered." Rika stated with a growl as she stalked up to the man.



"You should apologize to Odin for killing one of his messengers." A man stated.

"You you agree at the time it wasn't yours." He smirked and stayed where he stood, not afford of the look on her face or the growl that came from it.






"Oh sure, I will do that just after I kill you." She glared at him.

"Leave before I shoot you down. Also I don't miss. Remember who my father is." She spat.



"It would be unwise to leave it waiting and anger him."

"I do know who your father is and I have heard stories of your awesome aim. Hence why I followed you. Wanted to see if these stories were true. But so far I am disappointed."





"Quiet honestly, I do not care what you or he think is wise and unwise. I do what I please."

"Who are you?" Rika asked and she aimed the arrow before letting it loose and making it sink into the side of his shoe with a smirk. "I won't miss the next one."


"You would defy the father of your father?" He asked cocking his head to the side.

He shook slightly but regained his composer. "Nice but again you missed. But to answer your question, I'm Allad."




"Possibly. Would you?"

"Oh I didn't miss I aimed for that spot."



"Of course."

"It's clear that I am your target." He lifted her bow up so it pointed at his chest. "Might as well aim for the heart."





"Then why question me?"

"I don't kill unless in battle. Now why are you here?"



"I want to know you Miss Aesa."

"I thought I explain this. To see about this great aim you have. Is it so wrong to see you in action?"





"Why would you? I have no use to know you..." She trailed off not knowing his name.

"Lie."



"Erik."

"A woman of such few words." He chuckled and walked closer to her. 'If you want to know the truth, I wanted to come before all the other men had a chance to fight for your affection."





"Aw well Erik, as much as I enjoyed our conversation, I must leave you here without a care." She turned and walked away from him.

Rika rolled her eyes and moved to go hunting. "I'm not interested."


"Please I wanted to speak to you before the others got the chance."

"I am and I am sure that part of you is interested in me" He followed he lazily.





"If this is about marrying me, sorry but I am already taken. Maybe next year...."

"Look I'm taken already. Your too late." Rika stated.



"Your father said your free."

"Too late to be first, but not late enough to change your mind. Give me that chance."




"He lied."

Rika rolled her eyes. "Allad I'm sure your a great warrior but I don't think so."



"I don't believe he did."

"At least tell me why not."





"He has a sick sense of humor like me, so believe me when I say he lied to you."

"You interrupted my hunt." Rika said simply before running off with a smirk.




"Fine. Now what are you doing?"

He ran after her. "Is that a smart way of saying you missed and can't admit it?"





"Standing here talking to an idiot."
