"I know you aren't, I wasn't speaking of you." She pulled her arm away. "I met my mate when I was younger, still considered an Omega. He took one look at me and rejected me."



She mumbled a little louder. "Baby stuff."

He watched her. "Why didn't you ever tell me this?"



"Really?" Bane watched interested. "Why?"

"I didn't want the pity."



"Cause she wanted too."

"It's not pity." He said looking at her. "It would be something I could understand."


"That's nice of her."

She sighed. "He mated with some other girl. And when you went to your mate, it hurt. That's how my hatred grew to them two. They stole you from me."



She nodded. "She already decorated the baby room and all." She chuckled.

"You want to know why I went to her and she finally gave in?"



"She works fast."

"Kind of."



"Tell me about it."

Perseus sighed. "She almost died and called for me to stay with her, we talked and got to know each other. She wanted to try things with us."



Bane laughed. "At least she is happy and you seem to be too."

"Oh." She sighed. "I that must have hurt som."



She nodded. "Yeah more than i was when i first got here."

Perseus nodded. "It did." He sighed. "Honestly we didn't have much time."



Bane smiled some. "I'm glad."

She sighed. "I know."



"Yeah, you aren't as bad as before."

"Please stop taking your hatred out on Aminta. She never asked for any of it. The reason she lashes out at you is because of how you treated her. She didn't have what Bane had."



Bane smiled some.

"What didn't she have? She has alot." She wanted to please her husband but he was asking alot of her, at least to her it was alot.



She sighed. "Bane what are we?"

"She didn't have a mother or me." Perseus stated. "I didn't get to guide her like I did Bane and she didn't have her mother. Aminta lived with her mother's tribe."



Bane watched her. "What do you want us to be?"

She rubbed her arm. "I'll try Preseus."



"Want to be something you are not ashamed of."

"That's all I ask."



Bane looked at her. "I'm not ashamed of you."

She sighed and looked at Aminta then at her husband before walking over to her step daughter and removing the collar from around her neck.



"That's not how you acted when we first met."

Aminta looked at her with a raised brow after she shifted back and crossed her arms over her chest.




"I was....angry."

Claudia quickly went grab something for Aminta to wrap herself up with. "Look, I promised your father that I would try to let up on you." She rubbed her face. "Maybe I was wrong to put all my hate onto you and I'm...sorry."



"Angry about what?"

Aminta rolled her eyes slightly and shifted back nuzzling close to Will. She closed her eyes.



"Angry you were with pup when you were supposed to be mine."

Claudia looked at her husband. "See I tried being nice and rolled her eyes at me. I give up, and I'm leaving." She walked away from him and went to their room to gather her stuff.



"You think I wanted to get pregnant for someone else?"

Perseus sighed and followed her. "Claudia."

Aminta groaned feeling Will nip her. What?



"No but my wolf didn't know better."

"No Perseus." Claudia said, not looking at him.

Why did you do that? She was trying to be nice.



She sighed. "My wolf is mad at him still."

"Please don't."


She's only doing it because my father is making her.


"I'm sorry."

She took a deep breath and looked over at him.

At least she is trying Babe. You never got to have a mother. Maybe if you both try to get pass your problems, maybe there is a future for you two.
