Aminta heard the growl and lifted her head to look over at Killi.

Bane wrapped an arm around her. "Let's get you something to eat."

Perseus laughed. "It's fine."

Will looked over lazily. Are you going to be like that when pregnant?


Killi nodded and walked away with Bane, a blush creeping into her cheek from feeling embarrassed.

Claudia chuckled. "She must really love him if his mom kissing his cheek bothers her."

I don't know.



Perseus nodded some then walked over to Will and Aminta. "So you two look cozy."

"You don't have to be embarrassed."

Will looked up and nodded his head.


"How can I not be? I just growled because she kissed you."

Perseus chuckled. "You know it will be interesting to see what kind of children you have." He stated as he sat down.



"You are hormonal it happens." Bane said with a shrug.

"No girls because I can't deal with that headache." He said opening a link to Perseus.



She stopped walking and looked at him. "You did not just call me hormonal."

Hey! Aminta said.

It's not that. I meant she has feline and canine blood you are a full canine.


Bane groaned. "Sorry."

Hay is for horses. And I'd say the feline gene might be recessive to mine.



She crossed her arms and stared at him. "And..."

Perseus shrugged. "You never know Gypsy blood is strong." He stated as he leaned back. "Though if you have son it will be interesting."



"And you aren't hormonal."

Will shook his head and laid it back ontop of Aminta's.



"Better." She sighed. "I can't wait to have this kid."

Aminta started to fall asleep.

Perseus watched them. "Will I am happy for you."



Bane chuckled. "In due time."

"Not fast enough for me. Now where is this food?"

"You deserved my daughter. That is why I chose you."




"This way." Bane pulled her into the kitchen. "Here you go."

Thank you sir. I will treat her well.



"Good." She grabbed the fruit bowl and sat at the small table. "I've put so much weight on." She scrunched her nose as she ate.

Perseus nodded and watched Aminta sleep. He sighed leaning back and looking around the gardens. "It's beautiful here." He looked at his wife. "Why Hawaii?"


Bane sighed. "You are fine."

She shrugged looking down. "I've always wanted to visit there. I use to have this post card with a picture of it and make it my dream to visit there." She rarely was kind except around her husband.



"Trust me, this kid has me eating everything."

"Why not take Aminta?" Perseus suggested. "You've let bad blood be there for too long."



"But it means it's healthy."

Claudia sucked her teeth. "I can't look at Aminta without seeing her mother."



"It also means that none of my clothes are going to fit after having him or her."

Perseus sighed. "She never made me stay with her. She told me to go to you. She refused me alot." Perseus looked at Claudia. "You have no reason to hate my daughter when her mother never hated you or our son."



"But you can go shopping with Aminta. I'm sure she would enjoy that."

"But you went to her so easily, like you didn't care once you found out about her."




"She just likes spending you or Will's money. Like last friday she got me to change 2000 to your credit card....um forget I said that."

"Because that is how it is with mates Claudia." Perseus said getting up. He pointed to Will and Aminta. "Those two are mates. Killi and Bane are mates."



"What the hell did she spend it on?"

"Yes you made your point that I'm not your mate and never will be Preseus." She sighed and walked away, not wanting to argue with him.



"Calm down Bane."

He grabbed her arm. "No you aren't because she died but I do care for you. It hurts that you hate my daughter. You realize without Aminta I would have died when her mother died?" He stared at her. "My love for you and Bane weren't enough to keep me here."




Bane took a few breaths. "What did she buy?"

Tears welled up in her eyes at the last sentence. "I hate knowing that my mate didn't want me and my husband loved another woman more than me. It's hard to get close to Aminta even though she is the only reason you are still here with me."



She mumbled low.

Perseus sighed. "I'm not your mate you know that."



Bane looked at her. "I didn't hear that."
