"Then trust me. Now come on let's go to the bakery." She walked with him. "So did you ever meet my father?"




He ran a hand through her hair.

"I've met him when I was just Bane's best friend. Not as your mate." He tried to emphasize each point.



She tried not to lean into his touch, but it still sent shivers through her. "Stop doing that." She whispered as other watched them. He using did it to get her from arguing or when he wanted something. each time it still pissed her off.

Aminta smiled. "Good." She went to the car.


"I need your help." He whispered.

"Good? You just want to see him grill me!"



She asked on of the women to work the counter, all of them agreed to it. She shook her head and motioned for Bane to follow her up stairs. "Help with what?"

"And to see what he is going to say."



"My parents are coming and need you to pretend to be my loving mate and the Luna."

"I can tell you are going to love this." He rolled his eyes.



Killi stopped in her tracks and turned around. "You want me to what?!"

Aminta shrugged and drove. "It's fun."


"Please."

"For you."



"HELL NO!" She screamed and went to sit on her couch, not believing he would ask her that.

She smiled and pulled up.


"Please my father."

He got out of the car and stretched.



"Don't care." She glared at him. "Find someone else to play pretend, it sure as hell wont be me."

Aminta walked inside and looked around.


"I can't. Please Killi."

Will went to the counter and grabbed himself a snack, one lady smacking his hand for touching. "Ow!"



Killi stood and glared. "Why not? What did you tell your father?"

Aminta laughed and sat down. "Where are they?"




"I didn't tell him anything. He found out I have a mate. I don't know how."

"Up stairs dear." The lady pointed up with a smile.



She sighed. "You take away all the rules you placed on me if I do this."

Aminta nodded and looked at the menu. "Will leave the women alone."


"I didn't want to ask you this."

Will ignored Aminta and took another treat getting his hand slapped again.



"Don't care. If I do this you have to promise to take those rules and ram them up your ass." She looked at him. Though they were closer, meaning she didn't try to kill him, things were tense at times. Just being near him sent her wolf crazy in love and lust, which was hard for her to control with the hormones. Bane had literally not allowed her to date any other wolf or human. Though he rejected her, he still in a way had claim over her. That sentence had not really been taken well by Killi which had her attack him. Avon, Aminta, and Will all had to work on separating her from Bane's face.

Aminta rolled her eyes and got a soda.




"Please don't do this. My mom and father are expecting me."

Will looked at his mate. "You are suppose to be on my side with this."



"Why cant you just agree?"

"I told you to leave the women alone. I know how they are. You forget you may run the boys but until Killi takes the Luna spot I run the girls."



Bane sighed. "Because..it's hard on my wolf if you are with anyone else."

He muttered under his breath at her.


"Well it doesn't feel any better being ignored either when you chose to reject me."

Aminta grinned.


"I'm..." Bane sighed. He didn't know how to answer her question.

Will threw his muffin wrapper at her.


She shook her head. "Whatever. I'll do this once, but not for you. For Aminta, I have a feeling you dragged her into this too."

She grinned at him. "Love you too."



He looked at her. "Thank you." He then stood up. "You know Aminta is a daddy's girl. He is going to ream Will."

He rolled his eyes at her. "Going to have to find a new mate that lets me get away with stuff."



"Something to look forward to."

"Like you want to get rid of me." Aminta said laughing.



Bane sighed. "Thank you so much. Warning though my mother hates Aminta because her mother was my father's actual mate."
