A Long Time Coming

He walked up to the doors, and watched as some people tipped their head in respect as he walked in catching a sent. His head immediately snapping over in the direction of two girls.

"Mine!" He growled and charged towards her, leaving Simon outside in his haste.

Cam smiled. "Well that is a little new but..." Before she could speak she was pushed to the floor by the Alpha.

Marcus forced Selene against the wall and nuzzled her neck, taking in her scent.

Selene grunted softly when her back hit the wall but softened some at the feel of her neck being nuzzled. She felt the scent coming from him and nuzzled into him. "Mine." She whispered.

Simon stood in shock seeing his Alpha push aside the one girl to get to another. He quickly thought and realized his Alpha had found his mate. "Well I'll be." He whispered.

Camryn's father stood in shock and he looked at his Alpha and Selene's father. "She found her mate in my daughter's intended."

Cam got off the floor and glared. "That's not fair. I've been primped and prepped only for this to happen. So much of a friend you are." Cam turned around only to stop and stare at Simon.

Marcus ignored the other girl as he sucked on the neck of his mate, grinding his hips slowly into hers. His wolf wanting him to take her now, here, making her and her wolf theirs.

"Camryn she can't control mates." Camryn's father stated.

Simon studied her and smiled some. "Hello mate."

Selene whimpered some and tilted her neck to submit to him knowing it would hold off his wolf for a little bit.

Cam smiled at him. "Mate." She went to him. Her body warm as his scent got stronger.


Marcus growled and bit down on her neck, marking her.

Simon pulled her close taking in the scent of roses coming from her. "What is your name?" He asked as he nuzzled her neck.

Selene winced some at the pain from the bite but didn't make any noise.

"C-ca-Camryn." She mumbled. Her body weak for him. "Yours?"


He sucked on the spoke, his fangs in deep before he slowly removed them and licked his mark. "All mine."

"Simon." He stated as he ran his fingers through her hair.

Selene nodded. "Yours." She whispered. She looked into his eyes. "Your an Alpha."

She leaned her head into his hand, begging for his touch. "That's a nice name."


He nodded. "That I am mate." He said deeply and proudly. "I do not smell high rank on you though."

"Thank you."


Selene ducked her head. "I'm an Omega." She was afraid he would reject her and still marry Camryn or another high ranking person.

She smiled and touched his cheek.



He growled and lifted her head to look at him. "Never look away from me mate. And you will be Alpha Female. Your mine." He glared and kissed her hard before pulling his lips away. "Understand?"

He grinned at her.


Selene nodded. "I understand." She looked at her own Alpha standing with her father. She pulled her mate towards them. "Father, Alpha this is my mate Marcus."

Alpha Adam nodded. "As I see." He chuckled and held his hand out to shake with Marcus. "Alpha Marcus, welcome, though I was told you were bringing your Omega with you, not your Beta."


Cam looked at him. "I have so much to know about you."

Selene looked towards the guy with Camryn.

"At least my daughter can keep her rank."


"What do you want to know?" Simon asked curiously.

"Simon is my Omega." He looked back at his friend.

"I want to know..." Then she stopped hearing what Marcus said. "Y-y-your an Omega?" She pulled away and stepping away from him.

Simon looked at her with hurt on his face. "What does it matter?"

Selene shook her head at Camryn.

"You must give up Selene as your mate then and follow through with the marriage to my daughter." Camryn's father stated.

Selene's eyes widened as she tightened her grip on Marcus's arm.

Marcus growled. "I will do no such thing." He pulled Selene into his side.


"I can't be with you. I'll lose everything." She shook her head.

"You will honor your word to my daughter."

Selene looked at her Alpha. "Please Alpha don't take my mate away."

Simon swallowed. "You hold material things over a mate?"

The Alpha pinched his nose then looked at Cam's father. "I'm sorry but if Simons wants his mate, he shall have her if he sticks with the agreement to help our pack."

"I will keep my promise as long as I have her." He pulled Selene closer to him.



"Look you seem really nice but I can't." She turned and walked to the door, tears down her cheeks. She stopped at the door and looked at Selene. "Congrats. I hope you will be very happy." With that she ran out the door to their place, so she could cry alone.

Simon whimpered some at her running away.

Selene growled and pulled away from Marcus. "I'll be right back."

Marcus growled at her leaving, being stopped by the other Alpha.

"Let her go, she will be back." The Alpha then turned to Simon. "I am sorry. No one, not even an Omega, deserves to be rejected by their mate. However it is known for some to do that, especially if their mate is of a high rank."

Simon sighed. "I am just going to go by that lake and sit." He walked away with his hands in his pockets.

Selene caught up with Camryn. "How fucking selfish can you be?!"

"Leave me alone Selene." Cam said walking through the woods.

"You are denying your mate."

"Because if I get too attach, I will let him mark me, then I'm stuck."
