Beaten but not Broken

"Yes Sir." Isis stated as she bowed her head again.

He looked at her puzzled.

"You confuse me...I like it."

Isis looked at him. "How do I confuse you?"

"There is just something about you."

Isis laughed softly. "I've been told that but I am not sure that is a good thing."

"We will see. Now, are you hungry?"

"Yes Sir. What would you like?"

"Whatever you whip up will be fine, but it must have meat somewhere on the plate."

Isis nodded. "Yes Sir, where is the kitchen?"

"Down the hall, take a right, then a left, then two more rights, then a left, last door on your right."

Isis nodded and walked down to the kitchen thinking on what to make.

Tammy turned the corner, and bumped into Isis, knocking the smaller woman to the floor. "Watch where you are going."

Isis got up. "Sorry but I didn't see you coming around the corner and it was you who bumped into me." Isis went into the kitchen and started cooking.

Tammy followed and leaned against the door frame. "I suggest you watch who you are talking to. I could bleed you dry in a second. You little slaves don't deserve the air you breathe."

Isis ignored her. She waited patiently for the food to cook.

Tammy smirked and walked closer, knocking the pot onto the floor. "Oops, guess you will have to start over." She laughed and walked out the room.

Isis glared and threw a knife making it slightly miss her. "Oops it slipped." She then got back to work.

Tammy with to Stephan's office.
"Why get a new slave?"

"She is my new pet."

"Oh so she wont be here long."

"No she might surprise me."

"I wish you would give up on those things and be with me."

Isis came in with a tray and headed to his desk. She sat the tray down.

"I cooked a stuffed rib eye with a baked potato."

He was about to speak when Iris came back in. "Iris, meet Tammy, born Tamira O'Hera. She is a family friend."

"Met the little weasel."

"Oh yes the woman who decided she was going to make me start over on your dinner. She dumped out what I had started on." Isis stated as she set up his plate for him. "What would you like to drink?"

"I did no such thing. She is lying. Make her apologize."

He chuckled. "Red wine would be nice."

Isis rolled her eyes at the woman and poured him a glass of wine. "I have no reason to lie. Just like I will admit the knife I was working slipped from my hand and almost got her as she walked away."

He looked at her as he took a sip of his wine. "As fun as that would have been to see, I do not like how you treated on of my guest. I will let this time slip, but remember you are a pet here."

"Yes Sir." Isis stated. "By the way, Tammy was it? I cleaned up the mess you made." She went back to sit at the small table to eat her own meal.
