Wrong Turn

"AVIA!" Anna yelled hitting the door. "He's crazy get out of here!"

"You locked her up!" Mason asked. "Why would you do that?"

"She wasn't doing what I said." Liev stated simply.

Avia moved to go up the stairs but Liev blocked her way with a growl.

"You are not to go near her." He grabbed Avia by the thoart.

"Let her go Liev. If you want your mate to trust you you need to let Avia go to her." Mason said. "You can't lock her up. Times are different for women now."

Liev looked over at Mason then at Avia before dropping her to the floor. "She better not try anything stupid."

Avia gasp for area she got off the floor. "Where...is...she?" She asked between breaths.

Mason helped her up and led her to where Anna was unlocking the door. He left the two alone and went to Liev. "This isn't like you."

Avia quickly hugged Anna when she saw her.


"Don't start with me. I've been looking for my mate for hundreds of years and finally found her. I wont let her go."

Anna held onto her shivering and starting to cry.

"Your mate is crying. Liev she's human."

"Anna don't cry. We are leaving and getting the hell out of here. And by here I mean Canada and going home." Avia rubbed her back.



"She will grow to love me and my ways."

"What if they won't let us leave?"



"You can't do this Liev." Mason said. "Look her friend is my mate but you don't see me freaking out locking her up."

"They wont know we are gone until its too late." She pointed at the small window.



"I have to show her where she stands. Can't have running around without me by her side. What if another male had touched her."

Anna went towards the window.



"She puts them in their place."

Avia helped her open the window then looked down. They were on the second floor but they were close enough to a tree to climb down. "You first."

Anna started to climb down.

Avia made her way down as well but managed to cut her arm, leaving a large gash on her arm. "Fuck!" She bit her lip, and continued down behind Anna.



"Well it's too late to let her go now. Especially since my scent is on her. Soon others will realize she is mine and either stay away from her or try and hurt her."

Anna set foot on the ground and looked around.



"Liev she is being held prisoner. Our mates aren't prisoners."

"I parked the car on the side of the rode, we will have to go through the woods to get to it though." Avai held her bleeding arm as she led the way she thought she remembered the car was.



Liev gritted his teeth. "Fine, but if she pushed my buttons, I'm locking her up again."

Anna nodded and started to walk with her.



"You can't keep locking her up."

Avia continued to lead the way, but bit her lip when it had been 20 minutes and there was no road in site. She was too stubborn to admit they were lost and keep walking.



Liev growled as him and Mason argued over the issue. "FINE! I will try to...think of her needs first."

Anna sat down. "Where are we?"



Mason smiled some. "Good." He looked around and listened. "Where are they?"

"In the woods." She stated simply trying to use her phone but saw there was no signal.



Liev sniffed the air but could not catch his mate's scent. He ran to the room and threw open the door to see the room empty. "FINE HER!" He commanded through his mind link to all the wolves on guard duty, also describing what she looked like.

Anna looked around.



Mason ran out with a sigh.

"Okay we are lost. And to top if off, crazy fruit cakes who think they are werewolves are trying to kidnap you."



Liev was right behind Mason, his clothes tearing as he shifted into his large black wolf. His huge paws hitting the ground as his pace quickened.

Anna's eyes widened. "They told you that thing too?"



Mason shifted into a silver wolf and ran.

"Yeah. Tells you what kind of people live in the back woods."




Liev followed her scent as his wolf, was planning to through out what he had agreed on earlier. She had left him and he would not accept that.

Anna rubbed her arms.



Liev she's scared you can smell her fear. Don't be stupid.
