Wrong Turn

"I know it's alot to take in." He went over to her and rubbed her head.



"I will try to eat as much of it as I can."

"What do I do?" She asked. "For the pack I mean?"



Mason smiled some. "I'll help."

"You do a little of everything. You will be not only my mate, but a mother, daughter, friend, confident, healer, and protector."



She laughed. "I bet you will." She took a biscuit and bit into it."

Anna sighed. "I don't know how to be any of those things."



Mason smiled as he ate.

"You will learn. Trust me, it will come to you easier than you think."



"So what do you guys do back here?"

Anna nodded some and went to go take a shower.



Mason looked at her. "Well we train and relax."

He finished getting dressed then went down stairs to get her food.



"That's it? You don't go into town and hang out?"

Anna thought about everything while she showered.



"Sometimes."

An older woman walked in with a tray of food and waited for Anna to step into the room.



"Sometimes meaning rarely?"

Anna came out dressed and stopped seeing the woman. "Umm..hello."



"The younger ones do."

"Luna." She bowed and put the tray on the bed. "The Alpha asked me to bring you food. Once you are done, he wants to see you in his off. I am to also do anything you ask of me."

"Can you tell me where my friend Avia is?" Anna asked looking at the breakfast.

"She is down the hall. Take a right and its the 2nd door on the left. Beta Mason is in there with her."

Anna finished eating and went to the room that was told to her. She went in. "Avia."

Mason stood. "Luna." He said bowing his head to her some.

Avia raised a brow at the bowing. "O...kay." She looked at Anna and ran to hug her. "Are you okay?"

Anna nodded hugging her back. "What about you?" She glanced at Mason. "Go away."

Mason bowed slightly and left.

"I'm okay just trying to wrap my head around things." She sighed letting her friend go and went sit down. "This place is messing with me I mean...I couldn't sleep at all, my chest felt like I didn't have enough air."

Anna sat down. "That's odd. You've never been like that."

She nodded. "Maybe I'm still in shock over all of this."

"Maybe." Anna sighed. "I'm something called the Luna."

Avia raised a brow. "What's that?"

Anna shrugged. "Alpha's mate."

"So...are you agreeing to be his mate? Are you comfortable with this?"

Anna sighed. "I don't know. I said I would give it a trial run."

"You think you can live like this? It seems like they aren't very advance. Apparently my mate rarely goes into town."
