Making Up Her Mind For Her

He looked at her. "How have we caused pain?"

"Have have us to hard labor for next to nothing. Force us into slavery and marriage. Use us to feed off of. Shall I continue?"

"Not all of us are like that. I pay the people well and I don't force anyone into slavery that hasn't committed heinous crimes."

"I'm forced here."

"Only because I'm trying to make you see that you are supposed to be mine."

"What if that never happens? What if I die before I ever let you turn me?"

He looked at her. "Then I will stake myself the moment your heart stops beating."

And from the sound of his voice she could tell he was not lying. But she also know he would never just let her go. "Fine, if I can see my father, i will become your mate."

Oder smiled. "Good I will arrange it." He walked out.

She sighed and shook her head. "What did I just agree to?" She mumbled and walked down the hall.

Anna glared as she got away from Thomas. "Stop touching me."

Oder walked past the two and went to get Killi's father.

Thomas laughed and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Not going to happen."

Avia went sit in the garden.

Anna stepped on his foot then walked outside. "Stupid idiot."

"Yes your brother is." Killi said as she sat on the ground, pulling flowers out the ground. She was upset and ripping up the flowers was keeping her from going crazy. She knew Anna's voice from having spoken to the woman before.

Anna watched her. "What are you doing?"

"Tearing up flowers, what does it look like?" She spoke irritated at the question.

Anna watched her. "Why are you ripping up the flowers?"

"It's me ripping up flowers or me trying to stake your brother. I figured I'd live longer with the flowers."

"Then rip up those ones." Anna said pointing to a plot not too far away. "These are actually my favorite ones."

Killi looked up and raised a eyebrow. "But I prefer these."

"Why?" Anna asked as she sat down on the stone bench.

She rolled her eyes. "Because I just damn do. I'm planning on running away once we visit my father, i need to get my head cleared now so i can concentrate later."

"Oder won't like that." Anna stated.

'I don't care. I just need to get away from him."
