"Jean for one." He said and looked around. "I don't smell anything." He lied.

"It was on the way towards the professor's office." She stated. "And why am I avoiding Jean?" She looked at him. "I know you cared for her at one point." The two had complete honesty towards each other about everything.

"I don't know. I just know that it will be less awkward if you kept your distance from her."

She sighed. "Fine." Ali went into the linen closet and noticed no sheets. "Well at least I have sheets packed up in my car." She sat down on the bed. "Professor offered me a job because of something he saw in my mind." She smirked some.

"Sorry babe but I don't think a sex education class is to be offered here." He laughed and sat next to her.

She nudged him laughing. "No he is offering me to teach a cooking class." She said. "Also letting me cook for the kiddies."

He grinned. "That's great babe. When would the class start?"

"Not sure. Dr. Hank? I think that's his name. Has to give me a physical." She said. "Then I got to do a few other things."

"Well good luck with him and that physical." He smiled some. "When you do become a professor here, watch out for a few students. They try to use their powers on unsuspecting victims."

"Babe since when has a mutant's power worked on me?" She asked him. "I keep my physical shield over my skin now like you told me."

"Don't underestimate some of them. Trust me, I know. But lets worry about that later. You hungry?"

She grinned. "Starving." She took his hand. "So this Dr. Hank...should I be worried about him?"

"Nothing to be too word about."

She nodded. "Alright." She followed Logan into the cafeteria and noticed everyone got quiet as they stepped in. "Well that's just creepy."

Storm laughed low.

"They are just nosey. Apparently you seem to be the talk of the place."

She looked at Logan. "I think that would have to be something to do with you." She went to get some food. She wrinkled her nose at the food the smell bothering her some. "Well I guess I'll start on menus tomorrow."

He laughed. "They want to know who snatched up me and my incredible handsomeness. And dont worry about the food, you will grow to accept it at times."

Ali rolled her eyes and sat down. "So you say." She noticed Scott. "Hey can I have the salt?"

He handed it to her. "I'm Scott." He stated. "Or Cyclops."

"Ali." She stated simply before starting to add salt to the food. She gave Logan the meat. "That is not rare enough for me."

He laughed. "It has to be bleeding for you to like it." She took the meat and cut it up, before popping a piece into his mouth.

"Can't help it. The animal dna caused it."

Scott looked at her. "So...what's your abilities?"

She laughed. "Oh trust me one eye you wouldn't believe me if I told you."

Logan watched the two as the other guy persistently wanted to be told.

"Look I'm a science experiment that is all kinds of wrong." She stated looking at him. "I'm powerful and I'm also his." She pointed to Logan. "wife. I can handle him now think about that." She stated before eating.

He chuckled and patted her knee. "Easy babe."

She shrugged. "Not my fault I'm a little sensitive about that fucking lab." She muttered.

Scott raised a brow.

"So married?" Jean said speaking up. "When did that happen Logan?"

Logan turned his head slowly. "A few years ago. We wanted something small."
