Ames's new cat is Spike's new pet!

"Well make it two that find it annoying."

Spike shrugged ignoring that she would find it annoying. "So what are you thinking about and why didn't the spell work?"

"It's complicated." She said, sitting on the ground.

"Well I'll listen without judgement." Spike said sitting across from her.

"I'm hiding from my suppose to be husband okay. I had some crazy witch turn me into a cat." She sighed. "You see, I'm half feline, on my mother's side. But unlike my mom, i can't turn into a full cat. I can just extend my nails in claw, and my teeth, and grow a tail."

She looked at the ground. "When my father died, my kingdom went to hell. It was taken over by Zygers, horrible creatures. Their leader, Zane, agreed to stop the terror they were doing if I would marry him so he could become King. I refused, but then they threatened my mother's life. So I agreed. However before the wedding, I chickened out and ran."

She stopped speaking and ran a hand through her hair.

"So...we have to find this witch and she can turn you back." Spike said watching her. "And I don't blame you for running from an arranged marriage."

"The thing is...she can't. She is dead. With me no longer in cat form, he can now find me. And I know he has been searching."

Spike thought about it. "Then we make you something to cloak you."

She shrugged. "I guess we can try that. Not sure if it will work though."

"Ames is pretty powerful." Spike said with a shrug. He got up and held out a hand for her. "Besides I think it will be fun to have you here."

She rolled her eyes, taking his hand. "I wasn't joking about clawing your eyes out if you annoy me."

"There's no need to get violent pet." Spike said. "I'm harmless." He led her back to Wolfram and Heart.

"Don't call me that."

"Fine." He said with a shrug.

"You still going to do it, I can just feel it." She groaned as he dragged her inside.


Angel rubbed his forehead. "I don't understand why we have to go get the cat today."

Spike chuckled. "Now you are catching on."


Ames sighed. "Because I want one."

"Whatever. Anyway, I will need clothes, can't wear Angel's forever. And where will I sleep?"


"We can go tomorrow."

"You can sleep in Ames' room for now. And clothes I'm sure Ames would like to go shopping with you." He said as he went into the office where Ames and Angel were.


"Fine."

Angel looked up, actually happy to see Spike. "Your sister is driving me crazy."


"Then Spike will just make it worse." Avia said.

"Oh shut up Angel." Ames said.

Spike chuckled. "Another lover's spat how lovely." He sat down.

Angel snorted. "She wishes."


Savia raised a brow at them.

Spike sighed as he watched pain flash in his sister's eyes. He was trying to stop comments about Angelus but it couldn't be helped sometimes.

"So why are you still human?" Ames asked looking at Savia.

Avia sighed and basically told Ames, what she said to Spike.

"Hmm...do you have anything that belonged to him?"

She shook her head. "No, I left everything behind."
